NABC: Release
NABC districts are divided by athletic conferences. District I is composed of programs in America East and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
The postseason accolades continue to roll in for Lamb after the Rochester, New York native was named America East Player of the Year and U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) District I (New England) Player of the Year earlier this year. In last weekend's America East Championship Game, he dropped a game-high 28 points and was tabbed as the tournament's Most Outstanding Player for the second time in three years. Lamb's 21.2 scoring average was the second-best by a New England player behind Quinnipiac's Cameron Young (23.3). In conference play, he finished second in points per game (19.6), rebounds per game (8.4), field goal percentage (53.2%), and blocks (17). The 6-6 forward has recorded six double-doubles, the most by a Catamount since Marqus Blakely posted 17 in 2009-10, and has scored 20-plus 17 times.
Duncan, America East All-Conference First Team pick, buried 43.9% of his three-point attempts this season to lead the league's outside scoring threats. The Evansville, Indiana native set career highs this season in field goal percentage (47.8%) and scoring average (13.8). As a senior, he paced the team with 79 triples and sat second behind Lamb with 13.8 points per game. He finished his collegiate career as the school's all-time leader in three-point percentage (41.9%), second in total three-pointers (308), fourth in games played (136) and 10th in scoring (1,489).
Vermont wrapped up the 2018-19 campaign with a 27-7 record - tied for the second-most wins ever. The Catamounts capped off another historic season with their second trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last three years. UVM is only one of eight Division I teams to record at least 11 consecutive 20-win seasons - Duke, Gonzaga, Louisville, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Saint Mary's.
