The Vermont Catamounts (4-3, 1-0 AE) return to Virtue Field for the first time in a month as America East play continues against Hartford (1-7, 1-0 AE) on Saturday.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Hartford enters Saturday's game with a 1-7 overall record and 1-0 America East conference mark. The Hawks lost a 17-16 overtime game to Quinnipiac on Tuesday (Mar. 19). Their lone win came in their conference opener against Stony Brook.

Dylan Jinks leads the team with 27 goals and 36 points through eight games. He leads America East and is seventh in the country with 3.38 goals per game. The Hawks have four players with 10 or more goals and five players with 10 or more points in 2019.

Hartford's defense ranks 71st of 73 NCAA Division I programs with 14.88 goals against per game. Cam Logan has played the bulk of minutes between the pipes for the Hawks. He holds a 13.96 GAA and .466 save percentage.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Hartford meet for the 35th time in series history this Saturday in Burlington. The Catamounts hold a 21-13 all-time record against the Hawks. Vermont holds a 10-4 home record, 11-8 road record, and 0-1 neutral site record against Hartford.

The Hawks earned the biggest win in series history in 2016 with a 17-16 victory in the America East Championship game over the Cats. UVM won the first nine meetings in the series from 1987 through 1995. The teams have met at least once in every season since the first matchup in 1987.

COMEBACK CATS
Vermont rallied back from a six goal fourth quarter deficit to take a 12-11 double overtime win over UMBC in the conference opener last Saturday. It marked the largest fourth quarter comeback in UVM program history.

WASHUTA SETS PROGRAM MARK

Nick Washuta earned his eighth career America East weekly honor after being named Defensive Player of the Week following his 14 save performance at UMBC. Washuta passed
Ian MacKay '18 for the most America East weekly honors in program history.

The Orono, Minnesota native earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second straight season against UMBC. He picked up the honor in last year's regular season finale in a 9-6 home win over the Retrievers. He made 11 saves in the 2018 win. He has earned defensive honors seven times and rookie of the week honors once.Â

Vermont Men's & Women's Lacrosse Coaches invite program alumni back for a joint alumni day with a doubleheader and reception for program alumni. The day will start at 11:00 a.m. with women's lacrosse hosting Stony Brook in the annual Vanessa Cox #23 Memorial Game. The men's lacrosse team will continue the action at 2:30 p.m. hosting UAlbany.Â
