Nick Washuta has been named to the USILA Week 7 National Team of the Week. The organization announced the national team Tuesday morning.

USILA Week 7 Team of the Week
The USILA honor marks the second weekly honor for Washuta, who earned his second straight America East Defensive Player of the Week honor yesterday. He is the second Cat to be named to the National Team of the Week this season. Senior
Dawes Milchling earned a spot on the Week 6 team following his four-goal outburst in Vermont's 12-11 double overtime win over UMBC.
Washuta recorded 14 saves in Vermont's 15-6 win over Hartford on Virtue Field last Saturday (Mar. 23). He held the Hawks scoreless for three quarters before being relieved.
The Orono, Minnesota native has gone 59:46 without allowing a goal. He ranks 12th in the nation with a .564 save percentage and 16th with a 9.72 goals against average. Both marks lead the America East conference.
Washuta and the Catamounts continue America East play with a trip to UMass Lowell this Saturday (Mar. 30). The conference game is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Cushing Field.
