Kendall Ware were honored at UVM's Mosaic Center for Students of Color (MCSC) Awards Banquet Friday night at the Davis Center.

Rahill was one of three community members to receive the Tim Shiner Ally Award, which is given to a student, staff or faculty member who demonstrates a strong commitment to work within the UVM community of color in an effort to create social change. She is currently spearheading a first-ever focus group with athletes of color to explore feedback learned from an athletics climate survey.
Nash was one of three recipients of the Alan B. Urgent Award, which recognizes an undergraduate student of color who embodies the spirit of advocacy and social justice. Nash serves on the athletic department's Inclusive Excellence Committee. He has created "Student-Athletes of Color" a group that strives to enrich their experience at UVM and promote diversity and inclusiveness throughout the department.
Ware received the College of Nursing and Health Sciences award for an academic sophomore. She has maintained a 3.91 GPA majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish.
The MCSC vision is to create a diverse and rich community of empowered, engaged, and enthusiastic students of color at UVM. They support the holistic development of self-identified students of color so that they can obtain their goals for academic achievement, personal growth, identity formation, and cultural development.
