DURHAM, N.H. - The University of Vermont men's and women's track & field teams competed Saturday afternoon at the Pre-Conference Meet hosted by UNH at the Reggie Atkins Track & Field Facility. The Catamounts won three individual events and five others set personal bests finishing in the top-three.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Phoebe Koski finished first overall in the 1500m with a time of 4:43.35. Her teammate Sunny Nagpaul placed second in a time of 4:44.67.
- Ava Meyer set a personal best in the women's 400m with a time of 1:01.58. She finished second overall just .50 behind UMass Lowell's Kristin Hohenstein.
- Jane Leighton finished second overall in the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 11:42.24. It was her first time running the event collegiately.
- Matt Hynes won the 5000m in a time of 14:53.73, setting a personal best and beating UNH's Davis Clark by 4.3 seconds.
- Matyas Wyatt won the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 10:09.18. His teammate Dawson Adams placed second finishing in 10:24.91.
- Blake Williams set a personal best in the 400m hurdles in a time of 55.44. He finished second to UMass Lowell's Brendan Tumwesigye.
- John Benner set a personal best in the 800m by .79 seconds. He placed third in a time of 1:54.58.
- In the men's 1500m Neville Caulfield (3:55.74) and Tyler Marshall (3:56.53) placed second and third respectively.
