NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Neville Caulfield and Taylor Kracher led a group of nine Catamounts who earned All-New England honors Saturday 
afternoon at the New England Outdoor Championships hosted by Southern Connecticut State University. The men's team finished fourth overall, 
while the women placed 14th. 

• Caulfield finished third overall in the men's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:12.38. His UVM teammate Ross Elkort placed 10th with a mark of 9:33.97.
• The 2019 America East Champion in the 800m Kracher placed third overall in the event Saturday. He finished in 1:50.46 just .36 behind the eventual winner. Freshman Bill Comstock came in 10th with a mark of 1:53.46.
• John Benner earned All-New England honors in the 1500m and as a member of Vermont's 4x800m relay team. Benner finished fifth in the 1500m with a time of 3:51.18. On the relay he was joined by Tyler Marshall, Steven Garcia and Brennan Huff. They placed second in a time of 7:41.96, just 5.04 seconds behind URI for first.
• Phoebe Koski had the best finish on the women's side this afternoon. She placed fourth in the 3000m steeplechase with the second-best time of her career – 11:05.84. Freshman Jane Leighton finished ninth in the event.
• Senior Morgan Ferland finished sixth in the discus to earn All-New England honors. She reached 41.69m on her second to last attempt. Fellow senior Muriel Adams placed 12th in her last competition in the green and gold.
• Dan DeBlieck gutted out a seventh-place finish in the 400m hurdles to earn All-New England honors in the event for the second straight season. He finished in a time of 54.37.
• Vermont's 4x400m relay team set a new school record with a time of 3:15.96. DJ Snide, Justin Liechty, Eli Ogilvie and Dan DeBlieck set the new standard with a fifth-place finish.
