The University of Vermont track & field program hits the stretch run of the 2019 outdoor season this weekend as they travel to Albany, N.Y. for the 2019 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Saturday and Sunday's action will be broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV. The Northeast Sports Network based in Vermont will be producing the event with the voice of Vermont Men's Hockey Michael Lehr handling the play-by-play. Saturday's broadcast will begin at 12:45 p.m. Field events from earlier in the day will be shown throughout the live portion of the broadcast.

All spectators much purchase tickets inside the SEFCU Building and then proceed to enter the track through the Physical Education building.

CATAMOUNTS BACK AT UALBANY
Vermont's last time in action at UAlbany was the UAlbany Spring Classic on April 21, 2018.
Luke Petela,
Alex Parasky and
Morgan Ferland picked up event wins in the capital city a year ago. Ferland won her first collegiate discus competition with a mark of 38.64m. Parasky posted a mark of 6.31m to win the men's long jump while Petela won the 5000m in a time of 14:56.63.

LOOKING BACK AT 2018 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Samantha Sayer and
Dan DeBlieck earned All-Conference honors at the 2018 meet hosted by UMBC in Baltimore. DeBlieck posted a PR at the time in the 400m hurdles, finishing third overall in a time 52.70 seconds. Sayer also finished third in the 5000m, with a mark of 17:34.83.
