BURLINGTON, Vt. - Head coach
Kate Pfeifer unveiled the 2019 schedule for the University of Vermont field hockey program on Tuesday afternoon. The Catamounts will play 17 games in the regular season including seven at home in their 41st season.

- UVM kicks off the regular season hosting Syracuse for a 4 p.m. contest against the Orange on Friday, Aug. 30 at Moulton Winder Field.
- America East play starts on Friday, Oct. 4 as they host the 2018 East Division regular season champion UAlbany at 4 p.m.
- On Friday, Nov. 1 Vermont will host America East newcomer Monmouth at 3 p.m. It will be Vermont's fifth-ever meeting with the Hawks, who qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season as MAAC conference champions.
- Vermont will close out the regular season at home on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. as they face Dartmouth at home in the 39th meeting between the two teams. Vermont and Dartmouth have played every season since 1989.
- The 2019 America East Championship tournament is Nov. 7 & 9 at the site of the highest seed.
The 2018 Catamounts finished the season with an 8-11 record and placed third in the East Division of America East. UVM defeated 17th-ranked Maine in Orono for the program's first win over the Black Bears since 2007. Five Catamounts earned America East postseason honors and 15 Cats were named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
