Edward A. Kotlarczyk 1950 - Baseball, Basketball
Known primarily for his prowess on the basketball court - becoming one of the few UVM players to be selected to the All-New England team - Ed Kotlarczyk, a 1979 Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, also lettered for four years in baseball.
Kotlarczyk was a member of the Vermont basketball team (1946-50) during the time it recorded some of the best seasons ever, including a 19-3 record his freshman year. While he was a member of the Vermont teams, the Catamounts won 57 games, while losing 25, a winning percentage of .695. In addition to basketball, Kotlarczyk was an All-State pitcher in 1948.
After graduation, he coached junior and senior high school baseball, basketball, football and track for 15 years.
