Jamie Farrell '02 | UVM Athletic Hall of Fame Video Presentation
One of the top men's soccer players in school history, Farrell finished his career third all-time at Vermont in goals scored (29), sixth in assists (14), and third in points (72). Farrell led the Catamounts in scoring in three of his four years on campus, becoming only the third player in school history to accomplish the feat. Farrell burst on to the scene as a freshman, finishing second among America East rookies with 14 points, which also ranked 10th overall in the conference. During his sophomore year, he finished fifth in the league with seven assists, which marked the fifth-most in a single season in program history.

Farrell had a big junior season as he earned a spot on the America East All-Conference Second Team and All-New England Second Team. He tied for third in the conference in goals and fourth in points, as his 10 goals were the seventh-most in a single season at UVM. That year he came up big in the America East Tournament as he scored in overtime to beat Towson in the semifinals and netted both goals in a 2-1 win over Hofstra to send Vermont to the NCAA College Cup. A team MVP and co-captain as a senior after playing in all 16 games, he posted team-highs for both goals (6) and points (12). Prior to coming to Vermont, Farrell broke the Florida high school career goal scoring record with 198 tallies.
