Fallon was one of the top netminders to sport the Green and Gold. He graduated with the second-most career shutouts (20) in NCAA history behind only Michigan State and current Anaheim Ducks goalie Ryan Miller. He is the school's all-time leader in career shutouts, career goals against average (2.05), and career save percentage (.916). He sits second on Vermont's career lists with 63 victories and 132 games played – trailing only Tim Thomas '97. He also owns the top three single season goals against averages in program history. In his first year in Catamount Country, Fallon was named 2005 ECAC Rookie of the Year and set the UVM single season record with a 1.54 GAA during ECAC play. He was the chosen by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
