John Minahan '02 | Video Presentation
Minahan was a four-time All-American skier and won the 2001 NCAA National Championship in the giant slalom. He also earned fourth in the slalom at the 2001 NCAA Championships for a second All-America certificate, just seven hundredths of a second off the podium. Minahan was later recognized as the 2001 College Skier of the Year by Ski Racing Magazine.

He placed seventh in the giant slalom at the 2002 NCAA Championships to earn Second Team All-America honors, and also finished ninth in the slalom at the event in his final race as a Catamount. Minahan, who served as a captain of the alpine team, claimed the giant slalom and was fourth in the slalom at the 2002 EISA Championships as he led the Catamounts to their 27th straight EISA title.
