Sorrentine was an America East Rookie of the Year, America East Player of the Year, and a three-time America East All-Conference First Team performer. He ranks third among the all-time leading scorers at UVM with 2,013 points and graduated second with 548 assists and third with 164 steals. Sorrentine established a new school and conference career record with 354 three-pointers to rank 11th all-time in NCAA history. He finished fourth in the country as a senior with an average of 3.7 three-pointers per game and set a Vermont and America East single-season record with 116 threes. He hit a key three-pointer in overtime to help seal Vermont's first-ever NCAA Tournament win in 2005 against No. 4 seed Syracuse. The Catamounts posted a 51-9 record against America East schools during his last three seasons as the starting point guard.
