LEXINGTON, Va. – The Catamounts continued their strong performance at the America East Championships on Thursday earning three bronze and two silver medals, while setting a Vermont Varsity record on day two. After Thursday's action Vermont sits in second place with a score of 255 points while New Hampshire continues to lead the pack with 293 points. Bryant rounds out the top three with 239 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts began Thursday with another strong showing from Ella Church who placed second in the 500 free with a time of 4:51.21. Jackie House also placed fifth in the 500 free with a time of 4:56.53.
- In the 200 IM A final the Catamounts earned a three-four-five finish with Hally Laney placing third in a time of 2:04.31. Natalie Schlemmer placed fourth in a time of 2:04.50 while Kara Campbell rounded out the top five finishing in 2:04.96.
- Tannah Proudfoot continued her sensational first year campaign placing second in the three-meter diving finals with a score of 272.40.
- The Catamounts closed out their night by finishing third in the 200 free relay and setting a UVM Varsity record in the process. The combination of Havana Layton, Ellie Fazio, House and Laney finished in a time of 1:33.16.
WHAT'S NEXT
Following Thursday's action, the Catamounts will continue to compete in the America East Championships with Day Three on Friday. Preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. with finals beginning at 5 p.m. The final day of competition on Saturday (Feb. 17) will continue with a similar pattern with prelims starting at 10 a.m. and finals beginning at 5:30 p.m. All of the action can be streamed live on
