BOSTON – After a solid week at home and on the road, Vermont's sophomore forward
Hanna Crymble was named the America East Co-Player of the Week, along with Hartford's Lindsey Abed, on Monday afternoon.
It is the second time that Crymble has received this award in the 2017-18 season. She was the lone America East Player of the Week for the week ending on November 19.

Last week, Crymble led UVM to two straight wins to begin conference play. It is the first time this decade that the Catamounts have opened up their America East schedule with consecutive wins.
Against UMass Lowell in Burlington on Wednesday (Jan. 3), Crymble scored 16 points, grabbed five rebounds, collected two assists and recorded a steal in a 63-55 win. She went 6-6 at the free throw line and 2-2 from downtown.
Crymble also led the way in a 72-58 win at UMBC on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 6). In Baltimore, she posted 19 points (9-13 FG), secured four rebounds and blocked two shots.
Currently, Crymble ranks second in the America East in scoring (19.2 PPG), first in field goal percentage (58%) and first in free throw percentage (89%). Crymble has scored 20 points or more in six games and she has registered double-figures in the scoring column in all but two games this season.
Last season, Crymble was a four-time America East Rookie of the Week and earned a spot on the league's All-Rookie Team.
Vermont (5-10 Overall, 2-0 America East) continues its three-game road trip on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 13) with a 2 p.m. tilt at Stony Brook. Then, on Monday (Jan. 15) at 1 p.m., UVM plays its lone contest of the season at Maine.
The Catamounts return home on Thursday, Jan. 18 to play New Hampshire at 7 p.m. It is the first game of a two-game homestand, as Vermont hosts Hartford at Patrick Gym on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets for the New Hampshire and Hartford games are available at
