America East: Release
The Arlington, Virginia native recorded eight goals and handed out two assists in a split 1-1 week for the Catamounts. She guided the team with five points on four goals and one assist in a 16-5 rout of Central Connecticut State last Wednesday. The 5-7 midfielder capped off the week with a duplicate four-goal, one-assist performance in a tough 14-13 loss to UMBC on Saturday. The senior was credited with an assist early in the second half against the Retrievers and became the 18th Catamount to register over 100 career points.
Koehl is the league's frontrunner with 32 goals this season and ranks third with 37 points. She has logged eight consecutive hat tricks and three-straight five-point efforts. UVM's 7-2 record is the best nine-game start since 2014 and the setback to UMBC halted a five-game winning streak – tied for the second-longest in school history.
Vermont returns to action at rival UAlbany on Wednesday (April 3). The opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
