2010-11: She ended her career as the career record holder at Vermont in the 100 backstroke (56.62), 200 backstroke (2:01.47) and 200 IM (2:05.88), as well as being a member of all five record-setting relay teams in Catamount history (200, 400 and 800 freestyle relays and the 200 and 400 medley relays) … As a senior she took first at least once in six different events and won at least one event in all but one meet … She won the 200 backstroke eight times and the 100 back six times overall … Helped Vermont defeat Siena by winning the 100 freestyle (53.76) and 100 backstroke (58.94) and followed it up the next meet with wins over Maine/Keene State in the 200 free (1:55.80) and 200 back (2:07.38) … Swept the backstroke events against Bryant, winning the 100 (58.11) and 200 (2:06.15) … Earned two wins against Dartmouth in the 100 (58.50) and 200 (2:04.65) backstroke events and also swept the two against Binghamton … Picked up three wins against Rhode Island on Senior Day, by coming in first in the 50 free (24.63), 200 free (1:53.57) and 200 backstroke (2:04.14) … Helped Vermont finish fourth at the America East Championships with three third-place finishes, coming in third in the 200 free (1:50.84), 100 back (56.84) and 200 back (2:01.80) to earn all-conference honors in each.
2009-10: One of the top Catamount swimmers, she competed in six different events as a junior … Earned eight victories on the year, including four in the 200 backstroke … Finished first in the 100 butterfly (59.57) and 200 freestyle (1:54.08) in a win over Siena … Swept the 100 and 200 backstroke events against Dartmouth (1:00.20/2:08.26) and Central Connecticut State (59.22/2:07.00) in back-to-back meets … Also swept the backstroke events in back-to-back meets against Northeastern (59.51/2:07.39) and Rhode Island (59.87/2:08.06) … She also placed second in the 100 butterfly (59.50) in the Rhode Island meet … At the America East Championship she placed second in the 200 backstroke (2:02.72), fourth in the 100 back (57.60) and 13th in the 100 butterfly (58.20).
2008-09: One of the top overall swimmers in the conference, she earned first place finishes in five different events during the year ... Won the 100 and 200 backstroke events six times each during the season ... Also won the 200 IM four times ... Earned three victories in a meet at Boston College, taking the 100 (58.51) and 200 (2:05.88) backstroke events and the 200 IM (2:10.02) ... Took three first place finishes against New Hampshire, winning the 100 (57.60) and 200 (2:02.72) backstroke events and the 200 IM (2:08.52) ... Also picked up three wins against Northeastern ... Earned three top five finishes at the America East Championship, finishing second in both the 100 (56.62) and 200 (2:01.47) back and placing fifth in the 200 IM (2:05.88) ... All three of her times at the league championship broke UVM school records ... Was also a member of the first-place 800 freestyle relay team that broke the conference, UVM and BU pool record at conferences.
2007-08: Broke seven Vermont freshmen records, three individual varsity mark and was a member of four varsity record-setting relay teams as a freshman ... Finished first in the 200 IM (2:12.44) and 200 backstroke (2:07.42) in her first collegiate meet against Stony Brook and Army ... Won the 100 backstroke (58.26) in a meet against Niagara ... Finished first in the 100 backstroke (57.77) and 200 backstroke (2:04.20) in a meet against Northeastern ... Placed first in the 200 free (1:54.56), 100 fly (58.92) and 200 IM (2:09.80) against Boston College ... Won the 100 (59.04) and 200 (2:05.61) backstroke events in a meet with Drexel and Delaware ... Took first in the 200 IM against Lehigh in a time of 2:11.81 and first in the 200 backstroke (2:04.53) ... Won the 100 (58.35) and 200 (2:06.30) backstroke events against Maine ... Finished first in the 100 backstroke (58.66) and 200 backstroke (2:10.50) against Dartmouth ... Won the 200 IM in a time of 2:10.90 against Central Connecticut and Holy Cross ... Took first in the 200 freestyle (1:54.28) and 200 backstroke (2:06.24) against Siena ... Won the 100 backstroke (59.10), 100 freestyle (54.01) and 200 IM (2:10.73) against Binghamton ... Finished first in the 400 freestyle against Providence ... At the America East Championship she won the 200 backstroke (2:02.83), finished fourth in the 100 backstroke (59.43) and sixth in the 200 IM (2:08.53) ... Was a member of the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle relay teams that took first place at ECAC's ... Also at ECAC's she finished third in the 500 freestyle (4:57.90), third in the 100 backstroke (57.65) and fifth in the 200 backstroke (2:02.91).
Before UVM: A local athlete, Weaver comes to Vermont after attended South Burlington High School where she was a member of the tennis, sailing and track and field teams ... A member of the Green Mountain Aquatics Swim Team since 1996, she has been named the team's most valuable swimmer in each of the last four straight seasons in both the winter and summer ... This past year she was a Speedo Sectional Top Eight Finalist in the 200 back and Top 16 Finalist in the 100 free, 200 free and 100 back ... She was a NCSA Junior National Qualifier in the 50, 100 and 200 free, and the 50, 100 and 200 back, while also qualifying for USA Swimming in the 200 back ... As a senior she also qualified for the state meet in track and field in the shot put, discus and pole vault and was a member of the 2005 state champion tennis team ... This past summer she posted a Senior National Qualifying time in the 200 backstroke and was a Junior National B Qualifier in the 200 freestyle ... She also broke Vermont state records in the 200 free (1:54.55), 100 free (52.24) and the 100 backstroke (58.84) in the girls 17-19 age division.
Personal: Is the daughter of Donald and Caroline Weaver ... Both of her parents as well as two aunts and one uncle each attended UVM ... Has two younger siblings, Caroline and Christa ... Majoring in psychology and middle level education.
