2017 RALLY AWARDS
The 2017 Rally Awards will be held Tuesday, May 9 at the Flynn Threatre in downtown Burlington. The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 7:15 p.m.
ABOUT THE RALLY AWARDS
In 2005, the University of Vermont Athletic Department established the Rally Awards, an all-sports celebration highlighting the accomplishments of the student-athletes at UVM. The inaugural Rally Awards took place at the historical Flynn Theatre in downtown Burlington and over 800 people attended the event.

RALLY AWARDS HONORS
At the Rally Awards, each team's MVP is honored and six major awards are handed out to Vermont student-athletes. They include the:

Athletic Department Award -
presented annually to a member of the faculty, staff or community in appreciation of loyal support and continuing devotion to the University of Vermont athletic program

Jeff Stone Memorial Award - recognizing exceptional contributions in community service

Underclass Athletic Achievement Award - recognizing outstanding athletic accomplishments by underclass student-athletes

Semans Trophy - presented to the seniors who have excelled in the athletic arena and demonstrated exceptional leadership

Russell O. Sunderland Memorial Trophy - presented to the seniors who have persevered over obstacles in their career

Wasson Athletic Prize - presented to the senior scholar-athletes at UVM

J. Edward Donnelly Award - presented to Vermont's top senior student-athletes
In addition, the athletic department also presents an annual award to individuals in the community for their loyal support and devotion to the University of Vermont Athletic Program.
