BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont men's soccer team stands in third place in the America East standings after two weeks of league play. The Catamounts have a pair of road games this week, traveling to UMass Lowell for a 7 p.m. match on Wednesday (Oct. 15) and will take on Binghamton on Saturday (Oct. 18) in Vestal, N.Y. at 6 p.m. Both games will have live stats and live streaming for free via AmericaEast.tv (links below).
Vermont stands at 6-5-1 on the season and is 1-1-0 in conference play. The Catamounts picked up their first America East victory with a 2-0 shutout of Stony Brook on Saturday.

Bernard Yeboah's goal in the first half and added his conference-leading seventh goal of the year in the second stanza. Wright was named the America East Player of the Week for the second time this season and ranks 19th in the country in goals.
Senior
Conor Leland picked up his 20th career victory and 16th career shutout in the 2-0 win over Stony Brook. The 2012 America East Goalkeeper of the Year, Leland carries a 1.08 goals against average and .697 save percentage into the match.
UMass Lowell improved to 4-8-0 and 1-1-0 in America East with a 1-0 victory against Albany in its last outing. Augusto Trento scored his first goal of the year in the 77th minute to lift the River Hawks to the win.
Carlos Ruiz leads the team in scoring with seven points on two goals and three assists. Wuilito Fernands has netted a team-high three goals and has six points on the season. Freshman goalkeeper Austin Kroll owns a 1.59 goals against average and .753 save percentage.
Binghamton owns a record of 4-8-0 overall. BU is unbeaten and in a tie for first place with UMBC in America East action. Binghamton is 2-0-0 in the league after 1-0 wins over Hartford and New Hampshire. The Bearcats were scheduled to face UMBC on Wednesday, but impending inclement weather in the Baltimore, Md. area forced the game to be postponed until October 29.
Seven different Bearcats have scored this season, led by Alex Varkatzas's two tallies. Robert Moewes is the team's leading goalkeeper and carries a .827 save percentage and 1.06 goals against average this season.
