BURLINGTON, Vt. – Mike Clayton one-timed a long, high service from
Brad Cole past St. Francis Brooklyn goalkeeper Jack Binks in the 85th minute to cap a come-from-behind effort by the Catamounts as they defeated the Terriers, 2-1, on the final day of the Morgan Stanley Windjammer Classic.
After a scoreless first half, St. Francis Brooklyn took a 1-0 lead in the 79th minute. Andy Cormack headed in a corner kick from Salvatore Barone to give the Terriers the lead.

Brian Wright who was able to bury the put back to knot the score up, 1-1.
Clayton's game-winner and his first collegiate tally, came five minutes later to cap off a 2-0 weekend for the Catamounts.
Conor Leland was credited with two stops in the Vermont net, while Binks made three saves. The Catamounts held a 12-4 advantage in shots and a 13-5 edge in corner kicks in the match.
Vermont stands at 4-0 on the year and is off to its best start since 2005. St. Francis Brooklyn falls to 0-4 on the season.
UVM returns to action on September 12 and 14 when the Catamounts play in their third straight in-season tournament. Vermont travels to Birmingham, Alabama to face UAB (Fri., Sept. 12, 8 p.m. EST) and Jacksonville University (Sun., Sept. 14, 1 p.m. EST).
