When action resumed on Alumni Turf, Warren snagged a loose ball in front of the Stanford goal and sent a quick shot past Dulcie Davies, the America East Goalkeeper of the Year, to give the Cats a 2-1 edge.

Secco answered back moments later with a pair of second half goals, followed by a successful penalty stroke attempt from Fran Tew to secure the Stanford victory. The 13th-ranked Cardinal (13-5) advances to the America East semifinal round on Saturday (Nov. 7).
UVM goalkeeper
Lena Benwood was credited with seven saves. Vermont ends its season at 4-16 overall and 2-6 in America East play.
