ECAC Championships Day 2: Results
PITTSBURGH – Courtney Gray and
Shannon Cowley paced Vermont with top-four individual finishes on day two of the ECAC Swimming and Diving Championships at University of Pittsburgh's Trees Pool on Saturday night.

Gray registered Vermont's top individual finish of the night with a personal-best time of 55.94 in the 100 fly, as she took second place in the event.
Andie Blaser also scored points for the Catamounts with a time of 58.07.

Cowley set a new UVM freshman and varsity record in the 100 breast (1:02.92), breaking her own record that she set earlier in the day during preliminary heats. The rookie took fourth-place in the event.

In the 200 medley relay, Vermont earned a spot on the podium with a second-place finish. Gray, Cowley, Blaser and
Christa Weaver clocked in at 1:44.27 to finish just behind Pittsburgh's 'A' relay squad for a silver medal.

In the lone diving event of the night, the 3-meter event,
Maggie Preston posted an eighth place score of 235.65 and
Gabrielle Logozzo took 10
th place with a score of 132.65.
Kelly Lennon placed ninth in the 200 free with a time of 1:51.70, and Maddie Blumenfeld was Vermont's top swimmer in the 400 IM event, clocking in at 4:41.85 to take 15
th place.

Abby Holmquist, Blaser and
Carleigh Abromovitz finished off the night with a seventh-place showing in the 800 free relay with a time of 7:46.92.

Vermont wraps up the final day of competition at the ECAC Championships on Sunday (March 1), with preliminary heats at 9 a.m. and finals at 4 p.m. Links to live video and results are available at
