BURLINGTON, Vt. – With less than two weeks remaining until Vermont men's hockey opens the 2016-17 schedule, UVM is auctioning off the second of three autographed 1996 alumni jerseys.

One jersey will be auctioned off per week, beginning today at
UVMathletics.com/auctions with bids starting at $125 per jersey. The first jersey will be live beginning today through this Saturday (Sept. 24) at 12 p.m.
The third and final jersey will be available for bidding from Monday, Sept. 26 until Saturday, Oct. 1 at 12 p.m.
Last month, UVM hosted Vermont's Greatest Ever Pick-up game highlighting the 20th anniversary of the 1996 men's hockey team, which reached the program's first-ever Frozen Four and posted a Division I program record 27 wins. Vermont alums and NHL stars Martin St. Louis and Eric Perrin were among the members of the historic team who came back to skate at the Gut.

The Catamounts host Concordia on Saturday, Oct. 1 in a 7:05 p.m. exhibition contest at Gutterson Fieldhouse. A week later, UVM hosts former ECAC rival Clarkson in the home opener on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:05 p.m.
