BURLINGTON, Vt. - The 2017 Rally Awards presented by XFINITY will be held tomorrow night on Tuesday (May 9) at the Flynn Theater in downtown Burlington. The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 7:15 p.m. Live video will also be streamed for free via CatamounTV.com.

At the Rally Awards, all senior student-athletes and each team's MVP are honored on stage. Six major awards are also handed out to Catamount student-athletes (click above to see the finalists, and click each award below to view past recipients):

• Jeff Stone Memorial Award - recognizing exceptional contributions in community service
• Meg & Kate Ryley Underclass Athletic Achievement Award - recognizing outstanding athletic accomplishments by underclass student-athletes
• Semans Trophy - presented to the seniors who have excelled in the athletic arena and demonstrated exceptional leadership
• Russell O. Sunderland Memorial Trophy - presented to the seniors who have overcome obstacles in their career
• Wasson Athletic Prize - presented to the senior scholar-athletes at UVM
• J. Edward Donnelly Award - presented to Vermont's top senior student-athletes

In addition, the annual Athletic Department Award will be presented to a member of the faculty, staff or community in appreciation of loyal support and continuing devotion to the University of Vermont athletic program.

The UVM Athletic Department established the Rally Awards in 2005 as an all-sports celebration highlighting the accomplishments of the student-athletes at UVM.
