COACH'S QUOTE
"I felt the team battled through the elements, but we had too many losses of possession in the midfield and needed to generate more shots on goal," head coach
Kate Pfeifer said. "We'll get back to work this week as we prepare for our final weekend of regular season games."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- New Hampshire opened the scoring in the 28th minute off the stick of Bloem van den Brekel. The Eindhoven, Netherlands native picked up the ball in the Vermont circle near the end line and hit the back of the net with her shot.
- On Vermont's third penalty corner of the game, Clodagh Ferry moved the ball to Phillips just outside the Wildcat circle, who quickly collected the pass, moved into the circle, and fired a shot past Kelsey Rudert (4 saves) for the goal.
- Sierra Espeland charged out of the net to make a diving poke check on Tori Palumbo in the 49th minute to prevent a Wildcat scoring chance.
- In the 51st minute, Finn Caron collected a rebound in the Catamount circle and slid the ball into the net for the eventual game-winner.
- UVM called timeout in the 57th minute in an effort to tie the game, but the New Hampshire defense held firm and prevented any shots from reaching Rudert.
- Sunday was Military Appreciation Day, presented by Milton Cat.
