WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont (3-4) travels to face NJIT (1-7) Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. as the Catamounts play their first road tilt of the 2018-19 campaign. The non-conference matchup can be heard on AM 620 WVMT with Maura Sheridan on the call. The action will also be streamed live on ESPN+.

CRYMBLE LEADS THE WAY
Junior forward
Hanna Crymble leads the Catamounts in scoring with 16.7 PPG. She has been Vermont's leading scorer in its last four contests. This season she is also 34-for-39 from the free throw line. The rest of the team has only made 33 free throws.
HOMECOMING FOR A TRIO OF CATS
Sunday will be a homecoming for Interim Head Coach
Alisa Kresge (Holmdel),
Rose Caverly (Brick) and
Josie Larkins (Lincroft) who are all from the state of New Jersey. Caverly and Larkins are two of the four Catamounts from New Jersey in program history.
ROAD TRIP
Vermont will play its first road game of the season tomorrow. Of the 351 Division I teams the Catamounts are one of only four to have not played a road or neutral site game to this point. (Butler, Portland State, Texas Tech, and Vermont)
SCOUTING NJIT
The Highlanders have played a tough non-conference schedule to this point and sit at 1-7. Their lone win was on November 24, a 79-71 decision, at home against the Western Carolina Catamounts. In their last game at Rider the Broncs defeated the Highlanders by 21, Vermont defeated Rider by five in their season-opener.
Graduate student Kelly Guarino leads the Highlanders in scoring with 13.6 PPG. She has made 25 three-pointers this season, sixth highest in the nation. In the Highlanders win against Western Carolina she was 6-for-11 from behind the arc. In three of NJIT's eight games this season Guarino has shot 50% or better from downtown.
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the third all-time meeting between the Catamounts and the Highlanders. UVM is 2-0 against NJIT with wins in 2015 (54-46 at NJIT) and 2016 (64-42 vs. NJIT).
