JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Vermont suffered a 20-5 non-conference defeat to Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon in the second leg of its four-game road trip. The loss drops the Catamounts to 2-5, while the reigning Atlantic Sun champion Dolphins improve to 4-2.
Megan Prescott led the way offensively with four goals and two other Dolphins recorded hat tricks in the win. Kristen Brunoforte picked up the win in net for JU, making four saves in 52 minutes of action.

Jacksonville scored the first seven goals of the game before
Elise Koehl put the Catamounts on the board midway through the first half off a feed from
Alex Bernier. The Dolphins answered with three straight tallies, including a pair from Alyssa Arnold.
Bailey Saneman converted a free position shot with 7:13 left in the opening half, but the Dolphins took a 14-2 cushion into the break.
Maddy Kuras stopped five shots in the opening 30 minutes and finished the day with six saves.
Koehl and Bernier collected unassisted goals less than eight minutes into the second stanza, and
Courtney Cole scored on an 8-meter shot to cap the scoring. Koehl's second marker of the afternoon was her 20th of the season.
Vermont moves on to the third leg of its road trip on Wednesday (March 14) with a 12 p.m. contest against the Stetson Hatters in DeLand, Florida.
