MILK AND COOKIES GAME
Saturday is our Milk and Cookies Game presented by Monument Farms Dairy and Double Tree by Hilton Burlington. There will be free milk and cookies for the first 250 fans in attendance.

EVERYONE IN ON WEDNESDAY
In Wednesday's game against Norwich, seven Catamounts had six or more points in an 86-40 win. Eight Catamounts scored in the first half, including a 23-7 lead after the first quarter. Vermont racked up 27 points off of Norwich turnovers. Jane McCauley and Abby Settelmeyer both earned their first career buckets. McCauley's was a three-pointer in the third quarter.

CAREER HIGHS ALL AROUND
Five Catamounts found career-highs on Wednesday. Carmen Handy (10 points), Jane McCauley (6 points) and Abby Settelmeyer (4 points) all posted career-high games in points. Emma Utterback set a new career-high with six assists.

CRYMBLE KEEPS CLIMBING
With 28 points last Sunday Hanna Crymble moved into ninth place all-time at Vermont with 1,398 points. She passed Missy Kelsen (1988-92) who finished her career with 1,377. She needs 22 points to tie Jen Niebling (1989-93) for eighth place.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN GRIFFINS
Canisius has started the season 1-4 with their opponents shooting 46% against them. Senior D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks is their most dangerous threat as a Preseason All-MAAC Second Team Selection. She is averaging 18.4 points-per-game. Tiana Pugh is shooting 52% from the field and averages over 10 points-per game.

This is their second season under head coach Scott Hemer led Canisius to a 11-19 overall record and 9-9 conference mark during his first season on Main Street. The Griffs entered the 2019 MAAC Championship as the No. 5 seed, their highest seeding since 2014, before falling to Monmouth in the quarterfinal round.

SERIES HISTORY
The Catamounts are 5-3 all-time against Canisius including a perfect 4-0 mark at Patrick Gym. Last season the Golden Griffins defeated Vermont 67-46 on December 21, 2018. Canisius forward Danielle Sanderlin led the team in scoring with 17 points in the contest.

CATHY INGLESE PATCHES
This season the Catamounts are wearing jersey patches to honor our former Head Coach Cathy Inglese. Inglese was the head coach at Vermont for seven seasons, from 1986 to 1993. She led UVM to unprecedented success with its first two conference titles, in 1992 and 1993, and its first two trips to the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship.
These patches will be worn at home and on the road this season to honor the memory of Coach Inglese who tragically passed away this summer.
