WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont (9-13, 5-5) continues the second half of America East play as they travel to face UAlbany (9-13, 6-3) at 2 p.m. Saturday. The matchup can be heard on AM 620 WVMT with Maura Sheridan on the call. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+. CRYMBLE LEADING THE WAY
Junior forward
Hanna Crymble leads the Catamounts in scoring with 14.8 PPG. She is third in America East in scoring. She has been Vermont's leading scorer in 14 of the Catamounts 22 games. She is shooting 50.8% from the field this season which is the second-best mark in America East. She is also shooting 87.2% from the free throw line, which is the best mark in the league.

WRIGHT BLOCK PARTY
Candice Wright is Vermont's all-time block leader with 206 career blocks. She has 65 blocks this season which is third most in the NCAA. She is averaging 2.95 blocks per game, twice this season she has had eight blocks in a single game. By herself this season Candice has more blocks than five America East teams. As a team the Catamounts are 13th in the NCAA with 122 blocks.

BLOCK-ADE IN EFFECT AGAINST THE GREAT DANES
On January 5 in the Catamounts 52-39 win over UAlbany the Catamounts established a new program record with 14 team blocks. The previous record was 11 blocks which was set February 23, 1989 against Siena.

FIGHTING FOR HOME COURT IN THE QUARTERFINALS
The Catamounts enter Saturday's game in fifth place in America East at 5-5 a single game behind Stony Brook for home court advantage. Binghamton is a game behind the Catamounts at 4-6. The top-four teams at the end of the regular season will host the America East Quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 6.

SCOUTING UALBANY
The Great Danes enter Saturday having won five of their last six games. On Wednesday UAlbany was off on their second bye week. The week before UAlbany routed New Hampshire 59-41 and completed a series sweep of Binghamton with a 71-63 win. UAlbany scored a season-high 42 points in the second half against Binghamton, they shot 64.4 percent from the field in their big half.

Kyara Frames headlines the Great Dane's offense with 11.5 points per game, 68 assists and 36 steals.Â
Heather Forster who leads the team with 7.4 boards adds to the offense with 8.4 points. Forster had a team-high 12 points against Vermont in their meeting January 5 at Patrick Gym.

SERIES HISTORY
UAlbany leads the all-time series 22-19. After losing 19 straight to the Great Danes Vermont has won two of the last three matchups. The Great Danes haven't lost to Vermont at home since 2010. UAlbany has ended Vermont's season in the America East tournament in five of the last seven years.
