COACH'S QUOTE
"We played a good game, but continue to find ways to not finish," said head coach
Jim Plumer. "I know we are motivated to finish these last six games strong."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Terriers struck first near the midway point of the opening period on Deziray De Sousa's seventh goal of the season. Kristina Schuler won the faceoff to the right of Blanka Škodová (18 saves) back to Alexandra Calderone who quickly fired a shot on goal. De Sousa pounced on the rebound to take a 1-0 lead.
- Kristina Shanahan answered for the Catamounts with 3:16 left in the first period. Alyssa Holmes found Shanahan in the slot where she deflected the puck over the glove of Kate Stuart (19 saves). Anna Erickson also assisted on Shanahan's 11th goal of the season.
- BU took a 2-1 lead into the first intermission when Sammy Davis scored with 18 seconds left. The Terrier forward cleaned up a bouncing puck in the crease for her 12th goal of the season. Kaleigh Donnelly and Nara Elia assisted on the power-play goal.
- UVM outshot BU 7-5 in a scoreless second period. The Catamounts had a pair of power play opportunities to test Stuart, but were unable to find the back of the net in the middle frame.
- Emma Wuthrich gave the Terriers a 3-1 lead 7:27 into the third period. The BU forward directed a shot toward the UVM goal that took a weird bounce on its way into the net.
- The Catamounts quickly responded with Sini Karjalainen's fifth goal of the season. The sophomore received a pass from Corinne McCool on the power play and found the top corner to bring Vermont within a goal. Maude Poulin-Labelle had the secondary assist on the marker, which came 1:10 after BU's goal.
- Courtney Correia added the insurance goal for Boston University when she cleaned up a rebound with 1:36 left in regulation. Jesse Compher fired the initial shot and Mackenna Parker had the secondary assist.
