NAGY NAMED OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alex Nagy was named America East Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. The senior tallied four points last week as the Catamounts went 1-0-1 and vaulted up to second place in league standings. Nagy scored the game-winning goal against Hartford, and added assists against the Hawks and No. 4 New Hampshire.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth has one win on the season, which came on October 5 against the America East's UAlbany. The Big Green earned a 1-0 home victory with the lone goal coming from Ben Jenkins. The rookie leads Dartmouth in scoring with 5 points (2 goals, 1 assist) on the season. The Big Green are 0-3 against teams the Catamounts have already played this season with losses to UMass, Hartford, and Princeton. Alex Budnik averages 4.33 saves per game as the goalkeeper for Dartmouth, which ranks fourth in the Ivy League.

Vermont and Dartmouth square off for the 43rd time in series history. The Catamounts took the first ever meeting, earning a 1-0 home victory in 1977. Vermont is 1-3-1 in its last five meetings with Dartmouth. UVM defeated the Big Green in their last trip to Hanover in 2019.

The Catamounts average 6.85 corner kicks per game this season, which ranks 10th in the country. Vermont capitalized on a pair of corner kicks last week, with
Zach Barrett heading his second goal of the season against Hartford on October 13.
Yves Borie scored on a corner kick on Saturday, October 16 as the Catamounts tied 1-1 at No. 4 New Hampshire.

The Vermont attack averages 16.54 shots per game through 13 contests, which ranks eighth in Division I. Last week, the Catamounts totaled 36 shots against Hartford, which is the third-highest total in the nation this season.

UVM hosts conference foes UAlbany on Saturday (Oct. 23) at Virtue Field. The Catamounts and Great Danes sit in a tie for second place in America East. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. The afternoon matchup is Senior Day, presented by the UVM Alumni Association. Saturday will also be Poster Day, presented by UVM Print & Mail.
