CLINCHING NO. 2
The Catamounts clinched the No. 2 seed in the America East Tournament with a 3-1 victory over UMass Lowell on Thursday night. It is the third-straight season that Vermont has held the No. 2 seed. The Catamounts have been a top-two seed in each season under head coach
Rob Dow.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton enters Monday night's game ranked seventh in the America East standings. The Bearcats need a victory, combined with losses from either Stony Brook or UMass Lowell to clinch a berth in to the America East Tournament. Oliver Svalander and Ethan Homler lead Binghamton with five goals each on the season, which rank in a tie for fifth in the conference. Goalkeeper PJ Parker ranks third in America East in save percentage (.739) and saves per game (3.40).

INSIDE THE SERIES
The conference foes square off for the 22nd time in series history, dating back to 2002. The Catamounts have won the last six meetings with the Bearcats and have taken the last four trips to Vestal. Vermont and Binghamton last played in 2019, when the Catamounts took a 4-0 victory in Burlington.
Joe Morrison scored the clinching goal and added an assist in Vermont's win.

BLACK'S NIGHT VS. THE RIVER HAWKS
Matt Black scored a season-high two goals on Thursday night against UMass Lowell. The graduate student was the first Catamount to tally a pair of goals in a single game this season. His four points were also a season-high for Vermont.
