COACH'S QUOTE
"It was a very disappointing game tonight," said head coach
Jim Plumer. "We weren't sharp in any aspect of the game, and if the fundamentals aren't there, it makes everything a struggle. I'm happy for Maude to set the defenseman scoring record, but that was our only highlight. We've got to be better tomorrow."

Poulin-Labelle fired the initial shot after receiving a pass from Sini Karjalainen.
- The Wildcats answered with Nicole Kelly's third goal of the season at even strength. The UNH forward recovered a bouncing puck in front of the Vermont goal and lifted a shot over Jessie McPherson (18 saves) with 2:21 remaining in the opening frame. Jada Christian and Brianna Legros were credited with assists on the tying goal.
- New Hampshire took its first lead of the night 4:02 into the second when Kelly found Annie Berry on the rush for the go-ahead goal. Christina earned her second assist of the game.
- Schafzahl struck again for Vermont before the midway point of the second period to tie the game at 2-2. Poulin-Labelle centered a pass to Schafzahl at the top of the slot, where she fired a one-timer that found its way into the back of the net. Alyssa Holmes was credited with the secondary assist.
- Kelly gave New Hampshire a 3-2 lead with her second goal of the night that was recorded just after the 10-minute mark of the middle frame. The Wildcats would take that lead in to the locker room.
- In the third period, Brianna Brooks added an insurance marker with 9:20 left in regulation to seal the game for UNH. Vermont brought on the extra attacker in the late minutes, but Legros chipped a puck into the empty net.
