"While our season and work together is not over, we would like to congratulate Mike for his recent appointment to the University of Saskatchewan," said Head Coach
Todd Woodcroft. "His impact on our program will be felt for years. When our season is finished, UVM men's hockey will have a more formal thank you, but knowing Mike, he will want all the attention on preparing this team for our last regular season games and the playoffs."
Babcock has served as a volunteer advisor to the coaching staff since the start of the 2020-21 season.
Vermont will return to action next weekend with its opponent and location to be announced. A full schedule update from Hockey East will be announced on Tuesday (Feb. 23). Visit UVMathletics.com for further updates.
