The Catamounts (1-1, 0-0 AE) travels to Durham, New Hampshire Saturday, October 22 to take on the Wildcats (0-0, 0-0 AE) at Swasey Pool. The start time for the meet is scheduled for 12 p.m. and it will be broadcast on AmericaEast.TV.

AMERICA EAST HONORS
The Catamounts have gotten off to a hot start this season going 1-1 in home meets and claiming the NJIT Invitational this past weekend.
Jackie House earned the first America East Female Swimmer of the Week award for her performances. On the season, House has six individual event victories as well as helping Vermont to relay victories in the 200 freestyle, 400 medley and the 400 freestyle. Co-captain
Mina Poppas has also been off to a strong start for her senior campaign, earning at least a victory in every meet this season. At the NJIT invitational Poppas was a part of the 200 medley relay team that was victorious, she was also a part of the 400 free relay that took home first, and she won the 100 free on her own in a time of 53.22.

MEET OUTLOOK
Female swimming and diving teams from New Hampshire and Vermont will meet at Swasey Pool in Durham, New Hampshire on Saturday afternoon. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. with the two teams competing in a 16 event format. The Catamounts and Wildcats will go head-to-head in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay, the 200 IM, the 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle, the 100 and 200 backstroke, the 100 and 200 breaststroke, the 100 and 200 butterfly. Along with the swimming events the two teams will compete in the one meter and three meter diving event.

UP NEXT
Following Sunday's meet, the Catamounts will return home for another America East battle with Maine. Vermont will host the Black Bears at Forbush Natatorium on Saturday, November 5 at 11 a.m. The meet against Maine will mark UVM's annual Rally Against Cancer meet presented by Mascoma bank. All fans are encouraged to wear lavender, the universal cancer awareness color to the game. All Rally Against Cancer initiatives will benefit the UVM Cancer Center thanks to Mascoma Bank.
