NEWARK, N.J. – Sophomore forward
Anna Olson posted the fourth double-double of her career with 11 points and 10 rebounds leading Vermont in a 56-30 win over NJIT in America East action Wednesday night. With the win, Vermont improved to 6-4 in league play while the Highlanders fell to 5-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts blitzed NJIT with a 10-0 run to start the contest. Catherine Gilwee and Josie Larkins each hit a three-pointer as UVM led by double-digits 2:19 into the contest. Olson completed a three-point play in the final seconds of the quarter and UVM led 13-4 after the first quarter.
- Olson added another four points during a second 10-0 run by the Catamounts to close the second quarter leading 25-7. Vermont's 18-point advantage was built on 12 points off NJIT's 12 first half turnovers.
- Emma Utterback had eight points in the third quarter for the Catamounts as they continued dominant defensive performance. She converted a three-point play with 3:51 left in the third quarter giving UVM a game-high 31-point advantage.
- First year and New Jersey native Bella Vito had six points in the fourth quarter for UVM as they cruised to the regular season sweep of the Highlanders.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Catamounts matched a season-high with 48 rebounds Wednesday night. UVM outrebounded NJIT by 13.
- Sophomore forward Anna Olson posted a double-double in both Catamount games with NJIT this season.
- Emma Utterback led the way with four assists Wednesday night, the Catamounts assisted on 14 of their 21 made field goals. NJIT has just three total assists.

WHO'S NEXT
The Catamounts return home on Saturday, February 5 to host UMass Lowell at 2 p.m.. Tipoff from the Patrick Gym is set for 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN3. Fans can also listen live on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield IMG College on WVMT with Cooper Boardman on the call.
Saturday will be a special celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day presented by Vermont Mutual. Girls from the local community with an interest in sports and being involved in this celebration will have the opportunity to become members of the UVM Athletic Staff for the day.
