BURLINGTON, Vt. – Head coach
Kate Pfeifer unveiled the 2022 schedule for the UVM field hockey program Wednesday morning.
The Catamounts will play 17 games – eight of which at home – across six different states.

2022 Schedule
- Vermont kicks off the regular season the last weekend in August with back-to-back games in New Haven, Conn., against Syracuse (Aug. 27) and Sacred Heart (Aug. 28).
- The Cats play the first of eight home games at Moulton Winder Field on Sept. 2 when Merrimack pays a visit to Burlington.
- UVM opens a season-long three-game homestand on Sept. 16 starting with weekend matchups against UC Davis and Stanford. That stretch wraps up against America East newcomer Bryant on Sept. 23. The UC Davis contest will also mark the start of league play.
- On Oct. 21 the Cats travel to Orono, Maine to take on the defending conference champion Black Bears.
- UVM finishes up the regular season with a pair of home contests including one against rival Dartmouth on Oct. 23. With the exception of the abridged 2021 spring season, the Catamounts and Big Green have played every season since 1989.
The fall of 2021 will be the 44
th season of Vermont Field Hockey dating back to 1979.
