NEWTON, Mass. – Vermont traveled to Newton this afternoon for a midday matchup with Boston College to finish their road trip. The Catamounts had the best chance of the game when Sophia Drees saw her shot, and then Maddie Moran's follow-up was blocked. However, the Eagles dominated possession and scored three times in three and a half minutes to give the Eagles a 3-0 first half lead. Peyton Hale and Eva Kluskens paced Boston College on the day with a goal and an assist each to give them a 5-0 win. The loss drops the Catamounts to 4-7 and moves the Eagles to 7-4.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles got on the board first when Hale scored on a penalty corner from Margo Carlin and Martina Giacchino a little more than nine minutes into the second quarter.
- Another penalty corner a minute later saw Kluskens tap a bouncing ball to double the lead.
- Madelieve Drion extended the lead to three when she scored off an assist from Madeline Leigh two minutes later.
- Victoria Arra scored 13 minutes into the third off the assist from Kluskens.
- Hale doubled her tally when she scored off a penalty corner two and a half minutes into the fourth quarter from Carlin and Giacchino.
- Drees, Lotte Kanters, and Moran had the best chances for the Catamounts as they forced Boston College goalies into three saves.

- Today's contest marks the fifth ranked opponent that Vermont has played this season. The five games marks the most ever in a season with 19th ranked Albany still on the schedule.
