COACH'S QUOTE
"I thought the better team won the game tonight," head coach
Rob Dow said. "We were good for 20 minutes in the first half, and at least 15 minutes in the second half. "The dominated more minutes in that game. Our attack wasn't sharp, we didn't find
Carter Johnson the ball enough. On the flip side, we did a great job of occupying their forwards against our center backs. On to playoffs."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wildcats struck quickly in the ninth minute when Georgios Koliniatis delivered a kick from just inside the 18-yard box into the lower left corner for the 1-0 lead. Taig Healy found the UNH striker running down the right wing for the primary assist, and Yannick Bright was also credited with an assist on the go-ahead goal.
- Sydney Wathuta nearly scored the equalizer for the Catamounts in the 19th minute when he cut into the middle of the field and labeled a kick for the lower left corner, but was denied by Joseba Incera (3 saves).
- New Hampshire's lead nearly doubled minutes later when Dominik Kurija rifled a kick from outside the 18-yard box that rattled off the crossbar and away from the Vermont goal.
- Max Murray had UVM's second quality scoring chance of the opening frame when Sebastian Gebhart found the 6-5 forward for a header in the 31st minute that was swallowed up by Incera. The Catamounts would enter halftime down 1-0.
- Owen Jack (5 saves) was tested early in the second half, with UNH registering two shots in the first four minutes. The UVM goalkeeper denied a dangerous scoring chance by diving to his right and getting a hand on the ball to keep Vermont within a goal.
- Nick Lockermann had the best Catamount scoring chance of the second frame when his shot from long range missed the right woodwork by inches in the 54th minute.
- Eli Goldman added the insurance goal in the 67th minute when he capitalized on a bouncing ball inside the 18-yard box. Kurija fired the initial shot, a free kick that rang the cross bar, and eventually Goldman delivered the scoring strike. Bilal Kamal was credited with an assist on the goal.
