BURLINGTON, Vt. – Six Catamounts recorded multi-point games this afternoon, as Vermont (5-8, 2-3 AE) defeated UC Davis (2-10, 1-4 AE) Sunday afternoon on Virtue Field.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- In the 4th minute, Lilly Leiprecht took it herself and scored a bouncing backhand.
- In the 12th minute, Sophia Lefranc redirected a Lotte Kanters shot to double the lead.
- In the 19th minute, Alina Gerke extended the lead off a pass from Kanters again.Â
- A minute later, Shannon Lackey got a goal back for the Aggies when she scored off an assist from Jordan Anaya.
- In the 23rd minute, Haley Buffenbarger slotted home a penalty stroke to give Vermont the 4-1 lead.Â
- In the 30th minute, Sophia Drees joined the scoring when she scored off a penalty corner from Buffenbarger and Maddie Moran.Â
- In the 41st minute, Drees doubled her tally when she scored off a penalty corner from Moran and Meg Weyer.Â
- 40 seconds later, Lackey scored again when she knocked in a pass from Caroline Stutte.Â
- Gerke got her second when she took it herself in the 48th minute.
- Lefranc grabbed her second when she poked a loose ball into the net in the 50th minute.Â

- The eight goals scored by the Catamounts is the second most in a single game in program history. It is the first time they have scored eight in a game and marks the most ever under Coach Pfeifer.Â
- With her appearance today, Buffenbarger has the second most appearances ever in program history with 76. Â
- Kanter's two assists marks her first multi-point game as a Catamount.Â
- The 23 points recorded by the Catamounts marks the most ever under Coach Pfeifer in a single game.Â
