KINGSTON, RI – The Catamounts continued their solid performance at the Harold Anderson Invitational on day two, earning four first place finishes and setting two Tootell Aquatic Center records.
Hally Laney also set a UVM Varsity record. After two days, Vermont sits in first place with 606 points while Rhode Island (538) and Wagner (384) round out the top three. Maine sits in fourth with 371.5 and Holy Cross is fifth with 346 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont won the first event of the day, the 200 medley relay, setting a Tootell Aquatic Center record. The combination of Alexis Torykian, Natalie Schlemmer, Laney and Havanna Layton finished with a time of 1:43.81.
- Laney set a UVM Varsity record and pool record in the 100 fly finishing first in a time of 55.30.
- Jackie House placed first in the 200 free with a blazing time of 1:51.54, 0.82 seconds ahead of the next closest swimmer.
- Tannah Proudfoot continued her strong first year as a Catamount placing fourth in the one-meter dive with a score of 263.15.
- Vermont capped their night with another Tootell Aquatic Center record cruising to victory in the 800 free relay. Ella Church, Anastazja Szukala, Emily Rocco and House combined to finish in a time of 7:30.26.
UP NEXT
The Catamounts will compete in the final day of the Harold Anderson Invitational on Sunday (Nov. 19). The prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the finals will start at 3 p.m. The action will not be broadcast live.
