BOSTON – America East announced its yearly All-Conference teams for the 2023 men's soccer season, which featured eight different Catamounts earning league honors.

Yaniv Bazini and 
Zach Barrett received All-Conference First Team honors for the first time in their respective careers. Both Catamounts received Second Team honors a season ago. Bazini finished America East play with three goals, which ranked second in the league. The redshirt-junior was second in points (7) and tied for a league-high two game-winning goals (2). He leads UVM in goals (7) and points (17) this season. Barrett played a key role on a Vermont defense that ranks seventh nationally in goals against average (.647). The senior has averaged 79.1 minutes on the back line this season, and has added two goals.
 
Carter Johnson, 
Adrian Schulze Solano, and 
Jake Ashford all picked up All-Conference Second Team honors. Johnson ranks second on the Catamounts in goals (5) and points (14) this season. Schulze Solano garners the conference's Second Team honor for the second consecutive year, playing a key role in the midfield and averaging 81.1 minutes per game. Ashford patrolled the back line on one of the nation's top defenses, averaging 89.7 minutes per game as a center back.
 
Nick Lockermann, 
Andrew Millar, and 
Sydney Wathuta were named to the All-Rookie Team. Lockermann picked up four America East Rookie of the Week honors this season and posted a team-high seven assists. His four assists against conference foes ranked second in league play. Millar saw action in all 17 games this season, averaging 58.7 minutes per game and scoring one goal. Wathuta earned one Rookie of the Week honor, and potted two goals in 11 games played.
 
Bazini and Schulze Solano also picked up All-Academic honors. Bazini carries a 3.80 GPA in Business Administration. Schulze Solano has a 3.46 GPA in Business Administration.
 
Fourth-seeded Vermont will host No. 5 NJIT in the America East Quarterfinals on Saturday (Nov. 4). The opening kickoff is set for 3 p.m. ET at Virtue Field. Tickets will be available for purchase at
