KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches recently unveiled their NCAA Division I All-Region Teams, which featured four Catamounts.
Zach Barrett,
Yaniv Bazini,
Carter Johnson, and
Nick Lockermann were selected as All-Northeast Region honorees.

All-Region Teams
Barrett is featured on the All-Northeast First Team for the first time in his career, and picks up his third All-Region honor. The UVM defender received America East All-Conference First Team honors earlier this season. Barrett patrolled the back line for a Catamount defense that ranked No. 3 in the conference in goals against average (.848).
Bazini earns his first All-Region honor as a member of the All-Northeast First Team. The All-Conference First Team honoree led Vermont in goals (11), points (26), and game-winning goals (4). Bazini's 11 goals are tied for sixth on the program's single-season list, and his 26 points are tied for eighth. His goal total ranks No. 25 nationally.
Johnson ranked No. 2 on the Catamounts in goals (7) and points (18) to receive All-Northeast Third Team honors. His seven goals ranked No. 5 in America East this season. A member of the All-Conference Second Team, Johnson scored the winning goal in overtime to defeat No. 5 UCF in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
Lockermann picked up All-Northeast Third Team honors after becoming the first Catamount to be named America East Rookie of the Year since 2021. The first-year defender scored one goal and recorded a team-high seven assists. Lockermann's lone goal was the game-winner against Rider in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
