VESTAL, N.Y. – Olivia Muscolino registered a game-high seven points to lead Binghamton (8-4, 3-0) to an 11-10 win over Vermont (4-6, 1-2 AE) on Saturday afternoon at Bearcats Sports Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts quickly struck first on Jane Trauger's 21st goal of the season, which came 0:43 into the contest.
- Maddie Erskine doubled the UVM lead with a goal nearly three minutes later when she converted a feed from Claire Adelhelm.
- Binghamton countered with three-straight goals, all on woman-up opportunities, to take a 3-2 lead. Muscolino contributed to all three of the Bearcats' goals, scoring the first and assisting on the other two. Abigail Carroll gave Binghamton the one-goal lead with her 30th tally of the season that with 4:37 remaining in the first quarter.
- Vermont held Binghamton scoreless in the second quarter, limiting the Bearcats to just one shot in the frame. Four different Catamounts contributed goals in the quarter as Vermont took a 7-5 lead into halftime.
- Vasile and Trauger scored the first two goals of the frame to tie the game at 5-5 with 12:52 on the clock.
- Kristiana Strtak put UVM in front with her fifth goal of the season, to go up 6-5 with 4:18 remaining in the opening half. Erskine added her second tally of the contest with 0:19 left to give Vermont a two-goal lead at the break.
- Binghamton countered with four unanswered goals in the third quarter. Muscolino scored three times for the Bearcats, including the marker that put them up 8-7 with 12:01 left in the frame. Muscolino's third goal gave Binghamton a 9-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
- Kendall Traveis pulled the Catamounts to within a goal with 9:00 left in the game when she netted her third marker of the season.
- Binghamton responded with goals from Marisa Tancredi and Madison Murphy to stretch the lead to three, up 11-8 with 6:28 left.
- Trauger converted on a free-position shot with 5:04 remaining to cut the lead to 11-9.
- Vermont pulled to within a goal in the final minutes when Vasile forced a turnover on the defensive end and carried the ball the length of the field before netting her 26th goal of the season with 1:33 remaining.

- Trauger's three goals came on seven shots. The rookie directed six shots on goal and picked up three ground balls.
