BURLINGTON, Vt. – Head coach
Kate Pfeifer unveiled the 2023 schedule for the UVM field hockey program Wednesday morning.
The Catamounts will play 17 games – 12 of which at home on a brand-new surface at Moulton Winder Field. UVM also played 12 home games in 2014, which was Pfeifer's first year at the helm.

2023 Schedule
- Vermont kicks off the regular season with five straight games at home starting the last weekend in August with contests vs. Sacred Heart (Aug. 25) and Syracuse (Aug. 27)
- The highlight of that five-game homestand is a matchup with last season's NCAA runner-up Northwestern on Sept. 5.
- UVM travels to national power Iowa for a Sept. 15 matchup against the Hawkeyes.
- The Cats host California in their America East opener on Sept. 22.
- Vermont welcomes Stanford back to Moulton Winder Field on Oct. 6 for a rematch of last season's America East Quarterfinal.
- UVM finishes up the regular season with a home contest against defending conference champion UAlbany on Oct. 27.
The fall of 2023 will be the 45
th season of Vermont Field Hockey dating back to 1979.
