COACH'S QUOTE
"We've had a special weekend inducting Keach into the UVM Athletics Hall of Fame," head coachÂ
Rob Dow said. "We're happy to add a conference win to the weekend's celebrations. 2-0 in conference is something to be proud of but not content with."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts opened the scoring late in the first half off their fourth corner of the afternoon. Nick Lockermann delivered a hard-low service to the far post and Ashford beat his defender to the spot and headed it home for his second goal of the season. Vermont's 42nd minute goal was their eighth shot of the half.
- Bazini doubled the Vermont advantage in the 60th minute. A UMass Lowell foul setup the Catamounts with a free kick from 24 yards out at the center of the pitch. Bazini fired a perfect shot that looped over the Lowell wall and found the top right corner.
- With 18:30 to play UMass Lowell's Justin Milovanov cut the River Hawks deficit in half. Milovanov intercepted a Vermont clearing attempt 30 yards out and on his first touch he fired a shot just inside the post and past UVM's Owen Jack.
- Jack made two saves in the final 11 minutes of the contest to seal the Catamounts UVM Weekend win.
