- Marie Dijkstra had the Catamount's best two chances of the opening quarter when she forced the UAlbany defense into two saves in four seconds in the eighth minute.
- Makenna Lowe opened the scoring for the Great Danes in the 11th minute when she scored off an assist from Floor de Ruiter.
- Tessa Overgoor doubled the UAlbany lead when she scored solo in the 27th minute.
- Alison Smisdom made it three-nothing in the 49th minute when she scored unassisted.
- Dijkstra got a goal back for Vermont when she scored unassisted in the 54th minute.
