VERMONT OUTLOOK

• The Catamounts defeated Binghamton 53-40 in their last game.
• Anna Olson led Vermont in scoring with 15 points. Bella Vito and Nikola Priede were second and third with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
• Vito led Vermont in rebounds with 10, which marks her second double-double of the season. Olson was second with seven rebounds, while Sarah Ericson and Priede were tied for third with four apiece.
• Catherine Gilwee led the Catamounts in sharing the ball with five assists. Olson and Priede were tied for second with three each. Vito was third with two.
• Maine holds a 67-37 series lead over Vermont, including eight of the last 10. The Catamounts' lone two wins came in the 2022-23 season when they won both meetings.
• This season, Olson is Vermont's leading scorer, averaging 13.8 points per game. Keira Hanson and Vito are second and third, averaging 9.3 and 8.5 per game, respectively.
• Vito leads the Catamounts on the boards with 6.4 per game. Olson and Priede are second and third, averaging 5.0 and 3.8 per game, respectively.

SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS

• Maine has won four of its last five games, with its lone loss coming against UAlbany. The Black Bears are third in the America East and a game behind Vermont.
• Maine went 5-8 in nonconference play and shared one common opponent, Quinnipiac, which defeated them 61-53.
• They were picked first in the America East preseason poll.
• Caroline Bornemann leads the Black Bears in scoring, averaging 12.4 ppg. Caroline Dotsey and Asta Blauenfeldt follow, averaging 10.8 and 9.2, respectively.
• Bornemann is Maine's top rebounder with 7.8 boards a game. Paula Gallego is second with a 4.2 average, and Dotsey is third with 3.0 per game.
• The Black Bears return four of their five leading scorers from last year. However, their preseason all-conference selection, Adrianna Smith, is missing the entire season due to injury. Smith, Bornemann, Sarah Talon and Olivia Rockwood are the leading scorers to return.
• Smith, Bornemann, Talon, and Gallego are the top returning rebounders for Maine this year.
