BURLINGTON, VT. – Della Weir and 
Aubrey Bough each recorded a goal as Vermont (7-4-5, 5-1-2 AE) defeated UAlbany (2-13-2, 1-7 AE) 2-1 at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium on Thursday night.

 "We're happy to earn another win on the road tonight and head into the semi-final with momentum," said Head Coach Kristi Huizenga. "We had a little bit of a slow start with not adapting to the conditions, but we were able to make some halftime adjustments. The team sorted it very quickly in the second half and I think that says a lot about the leaders on the team. We're proud of this group for their mentality."
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- In the second minute, Sydney Remington shot from outside the box, but the UAlbany goalkeeper easily made the save.
- In the 13th minute, a UAlbany attacker curled the ball over Kylee Carafoli's outstretched hands from the right side of the box, giving UAlbany an early 1-0 lead.
- Lauren DeGroot fired a powerful low shot in the 16th minute, but the UAlbany goalkeeper made a diving save to her right.
- Vermont led UAlbany on shots on goal at the half, eight to one.
- Della Weir received a pass from Sydne Remington, and Weir beat her defender to the right and was able to tuck the ball into the left side of the post to tie the match at one in the 47th minute.
- In the 55th minute, Kennedy Bridget launched a free kick from the half line, and it found Aubrey Bough in the box, who flicked the ball over the UAlbany goalkeeper into the goal. Bough gave Vermont a 2-1 lead.
- In the 77th minute, Kylee Carafoli made a diving save after the ball bounced between UVM defenders and UAlbany attackers.
