Women's Basketball Prepares to Host UMBC on Senior Day

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont (17-12, 12-3 AE) hosts UMBC (14-13, 7-8 AE) on Mar. 1 for the regular season finale. It is also Senior Day, which is presented by MVP Health Care. The game will tip off at 2:00 p.m. ET and be streamed live on ESPN+.

BROADCAST INFORMATION
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network from Learfield on WVMT, which will air on 96.3 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 620 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App, and Ryan Zimmerman is on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

The Catamounts defeated NJIT, 75-43, in their last game.
Bella Vito led the Catamounts in scoring with 14 points. Anna Olson was second, and Sarah Ericson was third, with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Ericson led Vermont in rebounds, matching her season-high 10. It marks her first double-double as a Catamount. Olson was second with 7, and Malia Lenz was third with 5.
Vermont holds a 28-20 all-time series lead over UMBC. The Catamounts have won nine of the last 10 meetings, including the first one this season on Jan. 25, 67-44 behind 15 points from Ericson.
This season, Olson is Vermont's leading scorer, averaging 13.4 points per game. Keira Hanson and Nikola Priede are second and third, averaging 9.4 and 7.9 per game, respectively.
Vito leads the Catamounts on the boards with 5.8 per game. Olson and Priede are second and third, averaging 5.1 and 4.3 per game, respectively.

SCOUTING THE RETRIEVERS

UMBC currently sits in sixth place after 15 games. The Retrievers had lost three of their last five coming into Saturday. They lost their last contest on Thursday to UAlbany, 68-60.
UMBC has won six of their last nine since taking on Vermont on Jan. 25.
Jordon Lewis leads the Retrievers in points with an average of 11.6 per game. Jaden Walker and Talia Davis follow with averages of 10.2 and 8.9, respectively.
Walker is UMBC's top rebounder, hauling in 6.2 boards a game. Lewis is second with 5.1 per game, and Davis is third with 4.1 boards.
